Join us for our lunch and learn series where we dive a little deeper into specific preservation methods. Dine and Demo sessions are aimed to help participants gain a better understand of home foods preservation methods with research based information from experts in this field. Please complete the following form to sign up for one or more of the Safe Plates Home Food Preservation Dine and Demo Series.
Participant are recommended to bring their own lunch. There will be some taste testing but lunch will not be served. Registration of this form does not secure a space for the session until registration fee is paid. Cost of each session is $5. Cash and check is accepted. Registration can be made by mailing a check, payable to Iredell County, or pay in person with cash, check, or card at 444 Bristol Drive, Statesville, NC 28625.
Sessions are on Wednesday from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. on the following days:
  • May 22nd: Sweet Spread, Iredell County Center
  • June 19th: Yogurt, Alexander County Center
  • July 24th: Pickling, Iredell County Center
  • August 21st: Kimchi & Kombucha, Alexander County Center
