The Fruit Pruning Workshop Series is a prime example of horticultural public outreach, offering free, hands-on education to the community through the N.C. Cooperative Extension. This series provides specialized training on maintaining various fruit plants to help local growers improve their harvest and plant health.

All workshops in this series are held from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Raspberries & Figs: February 5, 2026, at Root and Branch Farm in Harmony, NC.

Blueberries: February 12, 2026, at Prevette Family Farm in Olin, NC.

Apples: February 19, 2026, at Craig McGlamery’s Orchard in Statesville, NC.

Muscadines: February 26, 2026, at Grietje’s Garden in Olin, NC.
