Iredell County 4-H is one of 19 counties that make up the South Central District! Every year the current district officers host an array of events. This is a great way for teens to meet others from across our district and to learn more about 4-H at a higher level.
4-H Friendsgiving
Youth gather before Thanksgiving to socialize and have a meal together. This is a great introductory to district level events and a way to meet other teens before the more in-depth events and programs.Winter Enrichment Day
Typically in January on a Saturday, the district officers will host a one-day event to bring together teens from across the district. During this event, youth can expect to participate in a fun workshop or community service project and then have a fun activity in the afternoon to do together.Teen Retreat
This is a special weekend for active teen 4-H’ers, 13 years of age and older typically held in March. The purpose of this event is to develop and sharpen leadership skills and meet with friends throughout the district. The cost of the retreat includes room, insurance, transportation, meals, and any activity fees.District Officers
As youth become more involved, there is an opportunity to serve as a District Officer. Candidates for district office must be at least 14 years old and have been an active 4-H member for at least two years. A person may only serve as a district officer once. If you would like more information about serving as an officer, reach out to Adreanna.Contact Information
