Elemental Dragons 4-H Club
Leader: Randy Billings
Meets: 1st or 3rd Thursday of the month at 7 P.M.
Robotics clubs that focuses on teaching youth basic STEAMM building skills needed for jobs and life skills. The high school club also participates in the FIRST Robotics Competition
Little Dragons: Open to youth ages 8 and up. Meets May-November on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
Elemental Dragons: Open to youth in high school. Meets year round on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in addition to various team meetings from January to March to prep for competition.
Both clubs meet in the fellowship hall at Living Word Ministries at 347 Jennings Road, Statesville NC 28725. Please contact Randy at first3680@gmail.com if you would like more information about these clubs.
Troubleshooters 4-H
Club Leader: Neal Loftin
Meets: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month, 6:00 P.M. at the FOP Range
The 4-H Shooting Sports Program offers youth ages 8-18 an opportunity to develop life skills through 4-H Shooting Sports in a safe and caring environment under the direction of 4-H Shooting Sports Certified Instructors.

West Iredell 4-H Club
Leader: Elizabeth Moseley
Meets: 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6:00 P.M.
The West Iredell 4-H Club is a multi-faceted 4-H Club. Club members participate in a variety of activities ranging from science, agriculture, horticulture, fine arts, sewing, public speaking, recreation, and conservation . . . just to name a few areas. The club is open to youth, ages 5-18 (as of January 1st of the current year). The work of the club is to help youth members develop community service involvement, social skills, leadership skills, public speaking skills, and explore a large variety of project areas. Membership in the club is free, and families help with one major fundraiser per year. The club leader is Elizabeth Moseley (life-long Statesville resident, and active in Iredell County 4-H for 35 years). Showstoppers
Leader: Deb Young and Jennifer Gaither
Meets: 3rd Tuesday of each Month at 6 p.m. at the Ag Resource Center
Livestock club open to ages 5-18. Focuses on learning about agriculture, animal science, and showing livestock. This club also offers the possibility to compete in different livestock events such as Avian Bowl, Poultry Judging, Livestock Judging and Skillathon, etc. For more information, contact Deb at bdhymes@yahoo.com
Junior Master Gardener
Leaders: Cindy Pickett and Denea Doughtery
Meets: 2nd Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Ag Resource Center
Gardening Club open to ages 8-13. Focuses on learning about horticulture and growing your own food. The club utilizes the Junior Master Gardener Curriculum and Youth Workbook. $15 club dues which covers the cost of the Youth workbook. Start a 4-H Club!
We welcome the opportunity for additional clubs within Iredell County! A club requires at least 5 youth from 3 different families and a caring adult volunteer. Please review the Club Leader Role Description. Clubs can cover a wide range of topics such as science, livestock, horses, service projects, robotics, art, etc.

- Dairy Club
- Crochet Club
- Life Skills (money management, changing a tire, etc.)
- SPIN club — choose a topic and lead a club for 6 weeks instead of a full year! Growing butterflies, knitting, and cooking are great topics for a SPIN club.
