Get Ready to Shine at the 2026 Iredell County Agricultural Fair!
The smell of popcorn, the hum of tractor engines, and the thrill of competition can only mean one thing—the Iredell County Agricultural Fair is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for September 4 through September 12, 2026, as the Iredell County Fairgrounds in Troutman welcome back our favorite community tradition, sponsored by the Statesville Kiwanis Club and Iredell County Cooperative Extension.
Here at the Iredell County Cooperative Extension, the fair is our absolute favorite time of year. It is a showcase of our deep agricultural roots, a celebration of local talent, and a testament to the hard work of our neighbors, farmers, and 4-H youth.
Show Off Your Hard Work: Enter the Competitive Exhibits! Entry Take In Sept 1&2, 4-8pm. Entry Pick Up Sept 13, 2-5pm.
The fair is your chance to shine, and we want to see what you’ve been working on all year! Whether you are a lifelong gardener, a backyard baker, a master crafter, or a passionate photographer, there is a category for you.
We are officially looking for entries in:
- Field & Garden Crops (Bring us your biggest pumpkins, tallest stalks, and finest produce!)
- Canning & Culinary Arts (Show off your blue-ribbon jams, pickles, and baked goods)
- Arts, Crafts & Photography
- Honey, Flowers & Potted Plants
- Clothing & Furnishings
- Livestock & Poultry Ready to throw your hat in the ring? The official Premium Book and Online Registration Forms are available right now at iredellcountyfair.com. Fun for the Whole Family
Beyond the competitive exhibits, this year's fair is packed with incredible entertainment. Catch the competitive 4-H livestock shows to see our amazing youth in action, enjoy the thrilling carnival rides, and enjoy family entertainment including The Electrifying Magic of Jay Mattioli and the Mac Dobson One Man Band. Plus, don't miss the spectacular fireworks shows at dusk on Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12!
