Transplanting Traditions Site Tour ImageField trips to local food projects are a great way for local food system professionals and students to learn about project approaches and lessons learned that can be applied in other projects in other places. NC State Extension has led the development of four virtual field trips of local or community-based food system projects and businesses in North Carolina. Virtual field trips have been developed with organizations and projects highlighted below. Visit these projects, virtually, and let us know what you think about this platform. Send questions or comments about these virtual field trips to joanna_lelekacs@ncsu.edu.

Would you like to provide input on our local food project virtual field trips? Please fill out this very brief survey after you view each field trip.
